    Need some advise.

I’ve got a friend who has a set of 241 heads that I can pick up fairly cheap.

Would it be worth it to get them and do a mild port/polish job, or just port and polish the 806 heads that I currently have. Pretty well the only thing I can come up with, as far as differences between the two, is that the 241 has a center bolt while the 806 is the perimeter bolt. Is that it?? I just wondered if I should worry about it, or have him sell them to someone else.

I'm also getting a Torquer V2 and a set of 918 springs that I'd be putting on at the same time.

    Any help would be appreciated!

i'd say get the 241 heads and have all the work done to them....that way you can swap the heads and cam and your car will just be down for the weekend. there are a few differences between the two heads, but i can't remember exactly what they were

for the 241 heads, you will need valve covers, and coil brackets

If you get the 241 you will need the what mark21742 said. If you can have your car down for a while then you save yourself a $100 or whatever he is selling them for, keep your heads and have a 5 angle valve job and mill those puppies
