need some advice on saving $$

i'm about to call and have my baby towed on monday to a local shop to get worked on. all i know is 1 or 2 cyl. stopped firing after a clicking noise. pretty much everything but the motor itself is taken out already too. qwhat should i tell this place so they don't try screwing me? i just get the feeling they're gonna say something about me starting on it already

Im no expert, but it sounds to me like you need an engine rebuild and thats gonna cost a pretty penny, you may be better off doing an engine swap

might be a dead coil or dead fuel injector. If you're not blowing out any smoke out the rear, it's going to be either ignition or fuel
