Need head identification please
Ok so when i bout the 96' LT1 it had a 383, and came with seperate I have a heads that are aluminum... I was hoping you guys could answer my question, are they same as stock or better?? Casting number is #10128374.
All the info i have on the heads is this:
68cc reverse flow, 175 intake ports, 68 cc exhaust ports thats all the info i could find guys...

according to mortec.com that casting number is a stock head.

now, if those heads you have now are ported with larger valves, yada, yada, yada, then they will be better than stock. otherwise, they are stock heads.Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

So the stock lt1 heads are Aluminum as well??

Alright man, thanks...my question is, my ported and polished heads would make an estimated hp/tq over the stock non-ported and polished....thanks
