    2000 ta

    need cam identified

    i got a new cam with the 2000 ta that we bought for my daughter to race. were going to rebuild the motor this winter and want to know if the cam is worth using for our application? 25-msq uq5638-06 252832 are the numbers on the cam. can anyone help me out?

    Call around to your locale machine shops and ask if they have a Cam DR.
    It is a great toll. It will measure ALL lobes give you the current specs lobe to lobe.
    You would be amazed @ quality control from company to company. We have done extensive testing on new cams too.
    Don't recognize those # patters.
    I'll ask some other tomorrow.
