Need Cam Advice

Here are my Engine mods:

Pacesetter lt headers with ory into slp loud mouth

Slp flow pack (Lid, Bellow, Ram air)

Msd Wires and Tr55 Plugs

Diablo Predator


Want an agressive cam that adds power and sounds sweet, but I plan on getting a procharger within the next year. Will I need to get a special cam...or is there one that will work for me before and after I get the supercharger. Thanks

Look at cams that take to forced induction well, but that's not to say that you have to sacrifice the aggressive cam that you desire. you have not stated if this is a daily driver car. If so look into a 228-232 cam with an LSA of 112-114. if it's not, you can go bigger, 232-236 or even higher. Also take into consideration where in the powerband you want the power to 'hit'. and don't forget the necessary upgrades when swapping cams. If all else fails you can call TSP (Texas Speed & Performance), tell them what you are wanting to do and consider even a custom grind cam. Best of luck.

Get a blower cam for sure. That will help you utilize the boost from the procharger that you get later on,
