I come from a mustang background. I know 302's 351's etc but I am clueless on the aftermarket parts for the ls1 350's. I will be picking up a 2002 corvette that has been wrecked but it only has 33,000 mi on it. In doing research on this site that motor cam with 350hp stock. Well, like most of you that's not enough. My last build was a vortech supercharged 302 H/C/I making around 470 at the flywheel.

I say all that to say,

What is the most cost effective way to get close to 400 rwhp or better quickest and least expensive. (Meaning I do not mind to use used parts) This motor will be going in a kit car GTM from factory five so exhaust mods are not needed. I can bolt on or I can go inside the motor but no NOS. You could achive 400 rwhp with a big cam only set up, that is high 230's low 240's duration with big lift, good set of dual springs, pushrods, and possibly have to flycut the pistons. But a much more street friendly set up would be a set of factory ported heads and and a 224 to 230 duration cam with supporting componets. Do some searching alot of proven combos out there you have probly seen the tailights of these combos before. Had to through that in there Texas Speed is a good place to start looking on a budget.
