In this pic is that the Trick flow timing chain adapter?

Is that how you installed the LS2 timing chain damper?

Got the valley cover installed and swapped out the old arp head bolts for the gen 4 style bolts. Cleaned out and chased all the bolt holes so not much holding me back from bolting these heads on now. Will be on the search tomorrow for 6.0 head gaskets and a new cam retainer plate since the one i had seems to have ran away somewhere.
Also finally got around to setting up the fuel injector spacer kit on my LS3 injectors
Have about 200 in it all and figure I can't go wrong with OEM.

Put together they sit a tad bit shorter than the stockers so my fingers are crossed they will fit the stock intake/rail

ok, show off.......how did you polish them?

can you show me the bolts that hold the coil bracket to the cover and the coils to the bracket.

I'm trying to see if my 98 bolts will work.

I sanded and polished my covers as well. Looks like Alex spent a little more time on his than I did on mine. With the coil brackets and FRC's, mine are mostly hidden from sight. Nice work, Alex.

Thanks, the lighting makes them look a little better than in person but i'm pleased with it. Only did one side, got caught up with other things today.

To get them where they are i used a palm sander and started at 80 grit and 120, then wetsanded at 400 to 1200 by hand. Mothers Billet to finish it off.

I'll get a pic up later tonight or tomorrow of the bolts Scott

Will measure more tonight but Im only getting around .06 of clearance on the exhaust valve. Intake odds tight at around .08 but will most likely end up flycutting. Going to look into new pistons before I get dead set on anything though.

So how much were the heads milled?

I picked up my DSS Forged Pistons for around $380 from Tick.

They currently sit at around 63cc but since the chambers were opened up on the cnc machine exactly how much was milled off I couldn't tell you. Regardless I'm more than likely gonna flycut if I can rent/buy the toold cheap enough. 380 it's not bad so I might look into that as well

Keeping with the budget, decided to flycut. Also pushrods are in so this motor is pretty close to done.

Haha yeah but you are going a little more radical than me. Have to order a new set of head gaskets, measure and order the new wire loom and look into a new clutch disk and I should be good to go.

Looks like you didn't need a whole lot of clearance. Nice work!

Thanks Jeff, took them down about .07 on the exhaust. Intake .03, just for safe measure.
Have to give thanks to my buddy Jonathan who stopped by to help out with the flycutting
