My Car Is All F*****

This is a discussion on My Car Is All F***** within the Internal Engine forums, part of the LSx Technical Help Section category; www.obdii.com shows it for that description - but only for "C" engines. Maybe they're just entering the wrong engine data ...

P0420 can be the drivers side post cat 02 sensor, but more likely a bad drivers side cat. gearchatter.com for your year has a lot of info on it, could also be an exhaust leak near the sensor, etc.

What mods do you have? I figure it would be something wrong with your wires or coilpacks.

Son starting 4 threads for the same thing doesnt help you resolve the issue. I merged all your threads into one. Help us help you... but having multiple threads going in 4 different directions doesnt get your problem resolved any quicker. Quite the opposite it makes it difficult for us to help you.
Now many folks including myself have asked you to check out various componenets...FP/Cats etc.....what are the results of these test?

P1415 is the drivers side air check valve (black disc shaped valve in between the metal air pipe coming off the header then connects to the hose, right above the #5 coil pack). Easy to replace yourself, won't make the car run bad though. Before condemning the pump I'd change the fuel filter, verify fuel pressure, check fuses/relays, etc. first.

Another thing to try is disconnect the MAF and Take it for a spin. See if there is any change. Could be MAF related, had the same problem a while back. You will trip a SES light with it disconnected, and related codes.

With the MAF out of the picture the PCM will still operate normal, just uses a different control function.

did you mess with the sensor when you put the new MAF in, if they get stuff on the sensor inside the intake tube that will mess things up somewhat, but do as 618Hawk said and disconnect the MAF

and also brown on your spark plugs means your motor is running normally
