Now I gotta figure out how much it's going to cost to register again. It's hasn't had a tag since 2013.

Hope all goes well. Be sure to take an extra set of spark plugs just in case you foul one or more out if things go really rich.

    I already have them packed.

so much to do. gone over it again and found that I broke my IAT sensor. it was a new one.

I had to pick up some 2x10x8' boards. yhere is a spot I think I'll hit on the trailer.

    close...

Made 450 RWHP, forgot the torque but when he emails me the info I'll post.

    Lessons learned:

My injectors are crap, no they are not stock, but I took a chance on them. Problem is no data at all on them. So something more to save up for. My tuner strongly suggested Ford green tops. With all that he stopped at 450 because every time he tried to make adjustments something else would go different. Sounds and runs so much better. He said it's drive-able but no hard pulls till injectors are replaced.

Spark plugs, glad I did bring replacements however he had me go swap them out for NGK TR6's. Said the 5's were just too hot.

Coolant reservoir hose and coolant cross over tube that returns to the radiator. Make sure i is hooked up correctly, otherwise on 4000 rpm pulls the reservoir cap blows off and it spews out like a volcano...

Trailers & low profile cars = trailer always wins over exhaust. Had to take off the straight piece from the ory to the up side piece. Now I get to put it all back together...

Overall I'm very happy. It's running much better and my tuner feels there is a lot more that once I replace/fix he'll feel safer to go all out. It even impressed the 3 Cobra guys that were hanging out.

    98 T/A w/a little mods...

Well little update for this thread.

After last session came out with a list of issues to address.

Injectors - Replaced the POS injectors for LS3 injectors.
Transmission - Seems we broke it on dyno, was not able to go into 4th gear. Turned out the blocker ring for 4th was cracked allowed for moment. Got supper lucky that it didn't blow up the transmission completely.
O2 sensors - they had 80k + miles on them and with break in tune didn't want to foul new sensors.
Plug wires - New MSD wires.
Plugs - Taking a set of TR6's along with me in case the current ones need swapped out.

    Items left remaining:
Oil change - waiting for my filter sandwich plate to come in with my oil temp sensor.
Coupler - Not happy with what is connecting the airlid to the TB.
Exhaust - I'll take to a shop when I can get a trailer with a wench. This isn't a show stopper. I can always wait till after the tune. It has the ORY and a temp straight pipe dumping it at the axle.

And lastly, just to piss me off the water pump gaskets are leaking....<<

Tune session is schedule for Nov 2nd at EPS in Baton Rouge, LA. About a 3.5 hr drive for me.

    So a little update....

Since my last tuning failure I was given some items to check out & button up as to possible issues into why my car bogs down every time you punch the gas. One of the items was to move my MAP sensor to the front so it doesn't get crushed again. Well yesterday I think I may have found the issue. Pulled the intake and found 3 nuts for the back 3 bolts are missing. Talk about a huge vacuum leak. No wonder.

I've searched the forums and it seems it's not uncommon for the nuts to come off. So I'm going to put some blue lock tight to keep this from happening again. I just pray this is what's been kicking me in the ass since I got this thing back together.

Also dropped off the fuel injectors for servicing.

Damn... that be some gape. I assume there is a recessed o-ring type seal between the two halves?

The winch vs wench topic comes up
a lot on the ATV forums I'm on. Comes up on the jeep and off-road forums too. I don't know if it's a geographically or accent or plain old spelling thing but it gives me a chuckle when I see it.
