Now for those that haven't kept up or forgotten I'm bored to 4.005" and using stock 243 heads.

    Now my questions are:

Will I have issues using this gasket?

Do they make larger gaskets in the case of over bore cylinders?

Does it even matter? The pistons do not push past the gaskets but do come very close to the top of the cylinder.

Also confirming these ARE NOT the engine mount bolts.

Per the dealership they are M10x1.5x30

I picked up 8 of these plus lock washers from Fastenal for $8.00

Bolts -- maybe the dipstick tube or back of the driver side head for the shorter one? Longer one something in the accessory drive system?

What wrong with the gasket? I can't tell from the pix. I assume the gasket is smaller then the bore? So yes, that is a problem. The gasket needs to be bigger then the cylinder bore

I talked with TS&P today. He said the gasket I have is 4.02" and should be fine. I will measure to be sure. He also said that if it's too small then I could use LS3/7/9 gaskets and should have no issues.

I bought a Speed Density smooth bellows from them, it is really nice. I think I got those same bolts for my coil bracket from them as well.

This broke while I had a moment of stupidity.

I also got these done. I had to tap the brackets because they had no threads for the coils

I also swap the rack & pinon bolts in case I need to fix later. Do I need a shorter bolt? Will it clear the oil pan?

The bolt should clear the oil pan just fine like that.

Some updated info about this Trickflow kit.

It seems there are 2 different LS2 dampers out there.

If you have the brown or tan LS2 damper you will need to use the spacers that come in the kit.

If you have a black one like below you do not need the spacers and you will need to remove the spacers that come with the damper :

Also you will need to use the button head bolts. You will not have clearance for the crank sprocket.

Now the instructions tell you to torque to 15-18ft lbs for those button bolts. I will tell you not to. I tighten as hard as I could and used blue locktite. Trying to torque them to that spec is what screwed me in the first place.

I was unaware there were two. I got the whole kit from trick flow and it came with the tan one.

Forgot to change to in/lbs? I did the same thing a few years ago. I ran with one bolt for the longest time, but it eventually started leaking. I bought a set of ARP oil pan bolts and replaced them all.

You can either take that route (ARP) or I can send you the one bolt I didn't break for the cost of shipping.

Yes 243's, bought them off of corvette guy. I weighed the valves and they seem to be the sodium filled ones.
