Ms4 cam & prc stage 1.0 heads
I've recently came into some money and want to do some engine work. I've been researching different articles about head & cam swaps, and don't know what exactly to get. I stumbled upon an article in GMHTP about TSP's head and cam packages. They used the MS4 cam with an 111 LSA and the PRC Stage 1.0 LS6 heads. This setup was pretty impressive but I don't know how the drivability will be. I have and 02 Camaro SS A4. I have some bolt-ons but nothing extravgent. Just longtubes, ory, plugs, wires, lid/filter, Maf screen delete, and a tune. I just need some expert opinions, before I go blow money on shit that I don't need.

Drivability is gonna suck. flat out.
Add a 700 dollar 3600 stall(or more) to that as well because it will be required just to keep your car being able to brake in D at idle.
Very unDDable IMO

I still want it to be cruisable and be able to just joy ride. Would you have any affordable sugesstions that are still DD and potent. I was also wanting to know how the stall affects the drivablity of it? I mean I'm not going to be driving it every day but when I do I don't want it to be a pain in the ass.

the best thing you can do is call some cam makers and tell them what you want to do and what you have and see what they think. i did that and it helped alot for me to make up my mind.

Call Comp, or TSP or any other place. Tell them what you want out of the car. Street. Street/strip. DD? They will tell you their opinion, usually go with them

It's not gonna be undriveable, but it's not gonna be a good street cam. A Torquer V3 might suit you better.

Actually, just go with a Torquer V2 so your not replacing the valve springs every 10k miles

I'm running a 3,000 rpm stall and the only difference is it feels like you have to give it alittle more throttle to get rolling......but hit the throttle hard from a dead stop and it will flash high and put you right up to where the motor is coming into full power
