I was wondering about this myself. $100 will barely get you a set of head gaskets. Bolts aren't cheap and I would think a brand new set CTS-V or LS7 roller lifters would set you back alot more than $100 also.

Then there is the issue of maybe or maybe not replacing the header gaskets, or the intake gaskets. If they have been together for a long time I wouldn't trust the intake to seal back up, or the headers for that matter.

Texas speed sells a bolt and gasket package for around 150 I think

Exactly. And if you're in there doing the lifters, you would be a fool not to put in some LS2 trays for another $20-25.

So you should have said "Do your self a favor and spend the extra 300+ bucks and several extra hours of your time and change your lifters if your trying to put a ms4 in a car with 135k on it"

Firebirdjones - no need to replace the header gaskets. Stock MLS are the ONLY gaskets that should EVER be used. And they can be reused many times over.

Ya I've used mine over on both cars without issues.
