    You're the one calling people liars. 114mph w/bolt ons is very doable. My friend Dave hit 116mph w/bolt ons, street tires, full interior, and a 10 bolt. He's literally there every weekend of the season practicing. http://www.easternfbody.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=51679

    OK, what if you have two identical "bolt-on" cars with two different cams. Say the MS3 and the other the Torquer3. Would the Torquer have more usable power in the lower rpm's? Would it have the lower ET while the MS3 have the higher speed? Just how close would they be on two similar cars? Say both have same gearing too.

    You gotta get rid of the driver variable there. I'd definitely like to see a cam shootout like that especialy with the bolt ons and gearing. Quick somwonw fire this off to gm high tech performance!! Same car same driver with a cam swap might be the answer...

    Then there would be other variables. Temp/DA and track prep etc.

    That's what they make correction factors for. Without it you really can't compare much of anything.

    Yes there are other variables to take into effect but I honestly think that the driver is the biggest. Same driver same car with a cam swap on a best of three passes I think could give enough of an answer to this debate that it deserves. We all know the ms3 performs hands down. We also know that everyone has their own preference as to how their car is set up. And when it comes down to it until it is layed out that one is better than the other people are going to still defend their opinion. Probably even after the fact. Face it we are gearheads and proud of it!
