looking at the codes, it looks like your rear o2's arent heating up. This could be caused by a clogged cats or burnt wires. However to have them on both sides kinda eliminates it being a burnt wiring issue. Is your EFI just the scanner or the flash version also? Id recommend getting the rears deleted...

Full version ... I'm planing on getting a wideband O2 ... anyway, I can check the wires I recon once I get it back on a lift ... but judging from the runtime, it seems like the faults just show up very rarely ... I cleared all the codes now, will see if it throws another code next time I take it for a ride. If it would be reproducable, I could run a log while I drive (either blackbox or longterm with the notebook) and see if I can get any more details ...

    Possibility

This sounds like a problem I was having on my 98 TA. Under load, I would notice a hesitation around that same RPM. I found that it was a cracked plug wire boot. Under load, it would ground out and throw misfire codes. The result was at about 2500 to 3000 Rpm's, the car would stumble a bit. As far as the O2 codes, I would agree with deleteing the O2's. This may give you the right direction, I hope it helps.
