Yea i do alot of buying and selling on ebay and have had no real problems. I bought these springs from Alantic Speed on ebay. I talked to comp and they said that Alantic Speed was a good place to buy from so I don't know what the heck the deal is.

is there a reason when you upgraded the pushrods you went to 7.425" instead of upgrading to hardened 7.400" pushrods? think there might be a connection there, i don't know just bringing that to your attention. your stockers are 7.400"

yea the guy at comp said that's what i needed because of the smaller base circle but this time I used the stock.

All aftermarket cams have a smaller base circle than the stock cam, so to maintain the same lifter preload you can add 1/2 the difference in the base circle diameter (base circle radius) to the pushrod length to maintain the stock lifter preload. Not doing this can result in a noisy valve train.

Hey vettenuts, you know when I put it back togethor I used the stock pushrods and I was amazed that it doesn't tick any more than with the longer pushrods. Maybe they were too tight

vettenuts is right...but you should always verify proper preload with your combination
