So i have a question whats the best way to get a good amount of power for a little bit of cash.. i have a 2002 Z28 with a flow master exahast and thats about it haha

i went and got some used ls2 coil packs they are a little more powerfull that helped and you can do straight exhaust and headers and thats about it for that cheap maybe a k and n air filter

you can get plug wires and longtubes for cheap if you look hard.

For your $1000, get a set of LT headers and Y pipe and a lid. Texas Speed has some very affordable 1 7/8" headers; under $500.

Cam or Nitrous because you said "more power cheap". I am not a NOS fan so i would say Cam out of the two. I would definitely wait on heads. That being said all the other suggestions were good too as you will need headers and a lid at some point. You could wait on the Cam until you have more supporting mods.

I like the NGK TR-6 spark plugs unless you want to fork out the money for NGK TR55-IX Iridium Spark Plugs(don't know much about them other than the price). I like the Taylor ThunderVolt 50 spark plug wires but they are a little pricey so if you want to save a little money there go with MSD 8.5. I see MSD/NGK Spark Plugs & Wires Combos out there all the time so you might want to search that to save money overall. Also you can find some cheap LT's out there. You just have to sacrifice a little performance, fitment, and longevity.

A4 or M6?? I would do headers... Plugs and wires will not gain HP.

if you have to smog it leave the cats on and cut your mufler, for get about LT's.

if no smog then keep the mufler. get an ory and some 200 dollar eBay headers.


do the free ram air mod. if you don't know what that is then google it.
I did it last weekend. put in a new air filter then did the mod and I felt a small difference in the acceleration.
