    MAF Problems

I have a 99 WS6 M6 and purchased the car with a K&N filter in it. I know, I know, OIL. My problem is during acceleration, the car will accelerate hard, and then sometimes hesitate halfway thru the gear, right around 2500 rpms, then pick back up with hard acceleration again. Does it off and on, no patterns thus far, I thought clutch or rear-end at first, but now a guy has got me leanin towards bad MAF. Anyone had anything like this? If so, what are all of your symptoms. Thanks!!

sounds like it could possibly be a dirty MAF. i would go to your local parts store and pick up some MAF cleaner and spray the shit out of it. good luck man.

What exactly was your problem?? Thanks, I feel a little better about everything now. Do you recommend I grab a Autozone deal or should I go SLP?
