LS6 Heads and 224r cam swap problem
Well i installed everything and took it to the tune shop where the mechaninc noticed it was making a tick noise at high rpms at full throttle. Didnt know for sure what it is, says it sounds like a valve sticking open. Maybe from my pushrods being too long but i have the 7.400 from tsp. Has anyone else ever heard of this?? Any ideas on what else it could be...

I have the same set up (LS6 heads, 224r Cam), no issue here with TSP hardened Push rods. 7.4 in length.
Did you do valve springs?
