The heads will def add some power. They flow better on the intake side and exhaust side. They are a smaller CC chamber then the LS1 head that will bump up compression for a power gain. The valves are hollow and sodium filled which help in Higher RPM range. For $300 dollars and being new, I would jump on these RIGHT AWAY Have them ported and polished, with a mill job and these heads will help incrediably.

Yup, even with them being D-shaped if you look at the headers, they will work.

No prob, thats a steal for brand new 243 castings. If you don't do any work to them, and just bolt them on, you will probably see around 20 hp gain. Not 100 percent sure since its hard to guess that kind of stuff.

Depending on cam, I would mill them to at least 64 CC down from 65 CC. Most will tell you that 62 CC is the way to go. Me personnally had mine milled to 64 CC.

i dont think your ever really "done" theres always something. Ya those heads port and polished and milled would be awsome. I have some LS6 casting heads that were port and polished, then milled to 59CC's. your gunna love it!

You will see more gains w/ milling then you will w/ porting especially w/o a cam. The good news is that it's cheaper than porting anyway, I would definatley mill down to at the very least 62cc. For people not worried w/ smog go ahead and do 58-59cc.

But with that CC you have to worry about PTV if you go cam later.
