ls1 bearings
Went to order new rod and main bearings for my '97 ls1. Parts counter guy looked surprised and said they were the same part # as older GM 350's. Does it sound to you guys like I'm getting the right parts?

Yeah, thats the only part that the two engines can swap. Actually, I'm not sure about the main bearing parts, but I know for sure on the rod bearings.

rod bearings are the same. here are the part numbers you will need
CB663 rod bearings
MS2199 main bearingsCold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

i think rod bearings are the same for LS1s even. not 100% sure, though.
