Lq4 vs ly6
Ok so I have the chance to buy an ly6 woth 32,000 miles but I need to now if the block and internal are the same as an lq4 cause I already have heads and cam

Navy Blue Metallic- 98 T/A w/ mods, 00 FBVert
The biggest difference is the Variable Valve train which allows the ECM to shut down cylinders for fuel management.

The ly6 is a 6.0 engine. None of which are available with mds. Yes it has variable valve timing but no way to shut down cylinders.
