    Question Looking for a "Logical Solution"

    I purchased a 2002 A4 Z28 with 60,000. My understanding is that my powerplant produces around 310 hp thanks to the LS6 intake manifold. My power out put goal is high 300's, low 400's. My question, can't i just have my heads machined to say, LS6 or LS2 specs and get Cam with matching specs?

    you can easily get 400 rwhp with a good cam, and ported stock heads. But you will need all the supporting mods to go along with it. (Lid, Headers, aftermarket exhaust, Stall (For an automatic), Tune, and the right Rear end gearing.)

    Without the supporting mods, you will defeat the the purpose of the cam and suffocate it.

    Aftermarket lid, ported TB, Longtube headers, Offroad Y or X pipe. Free flowing exhaust (cat back or true duals). 228/228 .588/.588 114 or 112LSA cam, chromoly push rods, comp cams 918 springs(or springs of your choice) with Ti. retainers, 3200-3500 stall/torque converter, recommend getting a ported oil pump and LS2 timing chain then tune it. You will be pleased I am sure. Then you will have to work on your traction, sub frame connecters, strut tower brace, Lower control arms, Panhard bar, etc...etc....etc....WELCOME YOU HAVE JUST BEEN BITTEN BY THE MOD BUG. lol. The list of mods you can do will keep going and you will want everything. Well that is how bad it got me anyway.

    thanx, does anyone here use the CheaTR cam? are they any good? the whole "quite operation" idea is intriguing to me.....

    I personally dont know anybody that is running a cheatr cam. Honestly I like the lopey sound of a bigger cam, I never wanted to run a stealth or sleeper setup.
