looking at an ebay item need something cleared up

found a Trans AM and the guy said they dealer swapped out the LS1 for an LS6 out of an 01 corvette? i had him retrieve some numbers for me and this is what he got off the heads and oil pan...drivers side front and it is (0014118371529855) Also on the pass. side of the oil pan their is another number that might help(12558899 NMP2GMPT)
And on the Pass side front of head it is (141T7812856),,,,,any help would be highly appreciated! thanks

a ls6 will have 243 stamped on the passenger side head while a ls1 will be 241.

Be careful, just because it might have 243 heads, it might still be an LS1 block. They could of just swapped out the heads for 243 heads and still have an LS1 block. The 01 vettes had LS1 engines unless it was a z06, then it had the ls6 engine.

ya i asked him to get the head numbers and the phone nmber of the dealer that did it to try and get osme kind of paperwork or something
