    4L60Es are relatively weak even at stock/bolt on hp
    Not saying it'll go but just saying don't spend all your money not to have any for the tranny

    ^ true but a trans cooler at bolt-on level and you will see the trans' life improve significantly. there are really 2 major issues with the 4l60e OP. heat and the sun shell. if you felt frisky you could tackle the sun shell...but if you are in it..you might as well upgrade most of the parts anyways.

    How hards the trans cooler to run? I really dont beat the car and its been completely stock down to the paper filter till i bought it 10k miles ago.

    Yes a tranny cooler does help tons, bigger the better. Just telling the OP not to expect the tranny to will be fine spraying nitrous, head work, etc. etc.

    how i didn't remember or figure you needed to remove the heads to check your lifters is still a mystery to me..between that and my low and high rear end gears switchero ..those two are my most embarrassing moments here
