light on dash

there is a little light that popps up on my lights in my dash on the left of the speedometer at the top it looks like a little box with an arrow pointing down towards the bottom what is that

its the low coolant light indicator...

ok thats weird cause i checked the coolant and it was fine thanks

if you checked it warm it will give you a false reading. if you recently changed the water pump or flushed the radiator and added new coolant you need to purge the system to get all the air out...

if its one when you first start the car after letting it sit for the night, then you are low. if neither of the two are the issue, you could have a faulty coolant sensor...

those sensors are known to get gunked up over time. Check the level and if it's fine I'd start looking at that sensor. Might be able to get by with just cleaning it.
