    lifter tap?

after some research i finally came to the conclusion i have a bad lifter. what are some good suggestions on what to replace them with? Im thinking of going with ls7 lifters. Also is it safe to drive for a week or so with this? it just started yesterday btw.

Did you pull the rockers and pushrods to inspect them ? One may be bent...

It's a lot more work to get to the lifters... Gotta pull the heads. I'm running the comp cam 850's in mine and I heard the LS7 is a good upgrade too. If you're high milage, and a lifter is collapsed, I would also change the O-ring on the oil pump pick up tube. It can be done through the front cover.
