lifter failure needs resloved
have a 98 t/a with a ls1. Had a lifter failure, thought I had fixed the problem but then it happened again 2 weeks later. Very odd it spit out the lifter pin that holds the roller and locked up the top end and dug up the lifter bore. So now im doing a rebuild (with a new block) just want to correct the problem so it doesn't happen again. Have a good source that believes its an oiling issue in the bottom end. Anyone else have an good ideas or personal experience with this problem?
