I read alot of people changing the lifters out of their ls1 to ls2 or ls7 lifters. is there a reason for this. they are all roller and always thought roller lifters were reusable. unless they are lighter or something and that helps with not bending pushrods and spring life. thanks

1: They change to a different camshaft
2: They change their camshaft and heads
3: A lifter goes out
I haven't heard of anyone on this site just changing them to change them. It takes a lot of work (Heads need to be pulled) to change them. If you plan on changing the camshaft or doing any of the following then it is good practice to replace them while you're in the motor┌∩┐(◕_◕)┌∩┐
Man: The Mods you are fighting,
they are the biggest Men I have ever seen. I
wouldn't want to fight them!
