    Knock even when its hot outside

    I have a 99 Z m6 with 104k on it.

    I am getting knock at start up even when its hot outside. It does get less once the eingine warms up but I can still hear it a little.

    Any ideas where to start looking?

    Run some Sea Foam thru it, if your getting oil in the intake, put a catch can on it. If none of that helps, get a 160' thermostat, new plugs, and put it on a dyno and tune it.
