    Red 99 C5 Coupe sold

Just bought a 6.0 liter! What Heads and cam to should I use?

I am thinking about the new L92 heads and L76 intake, is there a better setup that is close to that price? I will be doing this over the next few months as I get the money.
From what I have read I need the:
    L92 heads
    L76 intake
    New intake rockers
    Cam
90 mm TB (the OEM one is drive by wire)
I have headers, will they work on the L92 ex ports?
I am leaning this way because of the price, and the article in GMHT put the motor at 546 (I think) hp.
    Thanks,
    Shawn

for the price, the L92 heads are hard to beat.

That is definetly the hot set up
As for the cam you'll need some thing over 230 duration to equal the numbers from the Magazine. Maybe a MS4, don't know how streetable that set up will be though ?
Seems to me that it should be alright. Remember you'll need the 6.3 head gaskets also.
The exhaust ports sit higher than a stock LS1 so your headers may be alright depending on how tight to the floor they are right now.

Personally I would stick with the 243 head, scallop the chamber to 4" and get a decent 215cc port job done. There is such a thing as too much flow, and Im not convinced the L76 heads are well suited to the 6L just yet. And you can re-use all your old bits.

For a cam, anything 228-232 up till 236-240
