Easiest way to lower on LS1 engines is to install 6.0 litre truck heads with 72cc combustion chambers. Makes about a 9:1 compression on LS1 motors.
A popular swap for motors destined for forced induction.

Either the 72cc heads or dished pistons. Why are you wanting to lower compression? If your wanting to do forced induction, you should do extra insurance and get forged dished pistons in my opinion.

If your gonna run N/A or nitrous, you typically want to raise the compression.

I'm just doint comarisson between the both N/A or FI, thanks for the info how about both truck heads and dished pistons that would probably work wonders. Im researching to see what will be more efficient in the long run.

now my mind is made!!! as soon as my TA hits 110,000 time for H/C, bottom end beefed up with dished pistons, H beams, etc... then ill drive it when it breaks in. I plan to bolt on an APS TT kit. that should safely put me at 550-600 Hp with good reliabilty for a DD
