It would give you a decent gain.

It would also have a killer powerband. Might not have the peak numbers, but it would give you a lot of 'go' from damn near any RPM.
    Lift seems quite low though.

What cam is that?? Who's grind? Off-the-shelf?

seems like it was made to try and utilize stock or LS6 springs, that would be my only guess as to why the lift is so low...

good deal man.. I dont really know what to tell you power wise, like luos told you it definatly wont be a peak power cam by any means however people see awesome performance gains from the GM LS1 hot cam and I believe that this cam is a little bigger than that (i know it is duration wise) You should have a real nice power band and not lose any driveability with it. My guess is someone bought it and then freaked out about not having a whole lot of lift but the lift isnt that big of a deal.

you have a single pattern Comp 228 cam. that means that the int/ext and lift are the symetrical (same numbers) on a 114lsa. it should be an all around good cam w/a broad RPM power range, however, the only thig I notice is what Mr. Luos has stated, the lift seems really low for some reason for that duration of a cam...

once you receive the cam, call Comp Cams up and talk with them about the lift, and see what they say. get back to us about it...

for comparison, im running a Comp Cams single pattern cam as well...
