    how much power can my ls1 handle?

    could some 1 tell me whats the most hp the ls1 block will/can handle with all forged internals?

    ummm some have seen upwards of 900 HP if thats what you are asking.... there is no such thing as a set number of power an engine block can handle. as every engine has different weak spots. and it also depends on your parts combo. the block itself can handle a lot. but if you have a connecting rod break or a piston shatter than you can kiss the block good bye. and also if you are looking into a boost application you have to worry about a head lifting and screwing up the block.

    I have yet to hear about somebody splitting the block. There are Gen IIIs holding well over 1000HP... Even the factory cranks will take over 650HP of abuse...I know this from personal experience.
