How can i tell if my lifters are sticking

From 2k-5k i have all of my power at WOT but around 5600 she takes a nose dive until getting another gear. Also at H/T it does the same thing at 5600-5800. I've currently changed the fuel pump, spark plugs and wires. The car currently have 84k miles. So if there's anyone that could help I would greatly appreciate it.

It makes a little tapping noise only at idle. I've always been told that it's piston slap.

I have piston slap and it sounds like lifter knock.

Stuck lifter definaetely makes a more audible noise than piston slap.

if you hear a excessive clicking coming from the valvetrain area.... then its probably lifters. keep in mind that the LS1 engine ran a pretty noisy valvetrain from factory.

Just like you said "Insert". The valvetrain has been noisy since I've had the car and the performance has always been there. I'll find out when i pull the heads this weekend. Thanks guys
