HELP! LS6 stroker kit. What bore size?

Hi guys,

I want to stroke my LS6 and I just received a stroker kit from Livernois. But I am surprised that they delivered 4.005 bore pistons. Could this really be correct? The guys that sold the kit says that it is correct. I just don't believe it. Don't you have to resleeve the block for that kind of oversize?

I specified smallest oversize pistons possible. The LS6 has 3.903" standard, and I expected 3.905 to 3.908" on the new pistons. I belive they sent me the wrong kit.

I think the pistons are intended for LS2 (4.000 bore) not for LS6 (3.903 bore).

What do you guys say? Is a 4.005 piston the correct choice for an LS6?

yeah... they screwed up there and sent a ls2/ls7 set... maybe they thought that you meant the newer z06...
