    heads and cam suggestions ?

Im lookin into rebuilding my ls1 in the near future and i plan on running diamond forged flat tops with a 5 over bore, 6.125 eagle forged H-beam rods, and just getting the stock crank polished and the whole assembly balanced. should be around a 347 ci. my ? is im lookin into running a magic stick 3 cam and patriot stage 2 cnc LS-6 style heads. Have any of yall ran a set up like this and would this be a good and reliable "streetable" combo? Im wondering if the above 600 lift will cause any valve to piston clearance issues or any problems like that. any recommendations on heads and cam would be helpful. Hoping to get around 500 to 550 hp. and i want a muscle type aggresive idle.

you wont come close to 500 with above combo.
    whats your idea of streetable?
the magic stick isnt the most friendly daily driver cam out there.
call texas speed and ask them about clearance with the heads.

If a stock ls-6 puts out 405 to the fly wheel bone stock......then a fully balanced assembly with lighter rods, pistons, lighter valvetrain, about 60 thousands more lift, bigger valves and a slightly larger bore, not to mention cnc ported heads with around 10.8.1 comp ratio with 64cc comb chambers, full bolt ons. should be around the boundries of 500 hp to the fly wheel. surely 400 to 450 rwhp. If your getting 379 rwhp with a few bolt ons on an ls-1. what makes u think an combo like this wont be near 500?

why not stroke to 402-408 ? to bore to 347 seems like a waste to me.

Going 347 won't net any power but it will be nice to have better internals. You will need -2cc valve reliefs to avoid any clearance issues. You can expect 425 - 450rwhp with that set up. The stronger internal would allow a nice shot of giggle juice too.
