    my clearance is really good with mine.. they tuck up real nicely, but i don't have the 408

    I made a big mistake with my car about 5 months ago. I had come to a decision I wanted to sell mine and get a WS6 M6. I bought my car because I just had surgery and no way could I push a clutch in and the traffic is so heavy here I wasnt sure I wanted a stick anyways plus I got a hell of a deal on my car which was bone stock LS1 with factory upgraded axel/driveshaft/gears are 3.23 as well. Anyways right before I was going to sell my car the trans went. I had the option of a rebuild that would hold 700+ rwhp for $1900- or stock rebuild with transgo shift kit for $1400 with 3 year warranty. Since I decided to sell my car I opted for the stock rebuild. After looking at tons of cars I decided not to sell mine-they were all beat and wanted big money. I wish now I had went with the upgraded rebuild with a vigilante 3500 stall convertor and B@M cooler. O well. I plan on headers this month and in 2 months cam/heads if all goes well. Then I will just drive it till it needs a rear and upgraded trans.

    I dont think the block makes a difference espically considering that the LQ9 is plug and play with the LS1 so if the headers tuck up nicely and you have no clearance issues then thats what i like to hear!!!

    yep i'm planning on lowering mine too.. I was worried I wouldn't be able to after I got the exhaust done, but they tuck up SO nice I can't resist doing it lol

    Yev i wish i could lower mine but with the TDs that run a full 3" front to back UNDER THE AXEL lol dropping it is out of the question for me... But im glad to hear they tuck up nicely... There going to be releasing the 1 7/8" ones very soon so im thinking about getting those and matching them with my new 408 i think it'll go nice together plus T-304 stainless headers that are polished would give even a priest a hard on or mayb a little boy would also haha
