Question Heads Cam Package for 03' Z06

What is the best deal from our sponsors on a head, cam, pushrod, lifters, and roller rocker kit. I already have LP Longtube, a Borla Stinger Cat Back, and VaraRam Cold Air Intake. The car will be 99% streetcar so Georgia traffic on a hot summer day will be a common challenge. I priced forced induction and I'm looking at $5,600 to $7,600 for parts alone.
02' Z06 EB/EB 4.6K miles, Longtubes, Off-road X, Pypes X-back, Blackwing CAI, Comp. Cam 238/240-.605/.609-112LSA, Comp. Beehive Springs, Comp. Titanium Retainers, Comp. Perf. Push Rods, Comp. Billet Double Roller Timing Chain, Hurst Short Throw, Cray 19"/20" w/ Toyo Proxes4 265/30/19's & 295/30/20's

I want as much as I can squeeze out without making it a challenge to drive in bumper to bumper traffic if I have to. The car is not an every day driver but I want it to have that ability. It will probably never see a track day but I'd like to hang with or beat a C6 Z06 if I run across one.

That statement would hold true with most manual transmission applications which the Z06 obviously is. While researching all the head/cam packages available I noticed that most of the vendors wanted to know the same thing. Will it be a street car, a strip car, or both. That being said if you build a car to run specifically for strip applications then a tune will do nothing for bumper to bumper traffic in Atlata while on yuor way to the airport. It would be best stated that driveability is in choosing the right package and having a good tune. Peace out

very true but most people keep 2 or more computers one for the strip and one for the street and swap em out. Its usually only 100 dolars or so more.

LG Motorsport HCI combo. I would go with the G5X3, AFR 205 heads milled to 59cc, and a ported FAST 90mm intake with a nick williams 90mm T/B. This should net you at 475 HP if not a little higher.

the car will be sluggish without getting a lower rear gear ratio like a 4.10.

If you want to hang with a 06 "if you come across one" just spray when need be ?. You keep your drivability.
