Hi
I just did a heas and cam swap on my 02 C.E.T.A I put livernoise ported heads and a LS6 5308 cam. It took me 20h to get the job done. I got a lot if tips from www.ls1thowto.com (http://www.ls1howto.com/index.php?article=2) I did just as it was explained and it all worked out well for me. Now I am looking for headers and catted y-pipe, I dont know whitch ones to get. I want something that fits well without modifying the body.
good luck
I took about 900meg in pix if u need any let me know

all y-pipes are shit. What about true duals? Thought about those? They're loud and wouldn't pass emissions if you needed to but sound good and are fairly cheap.

Use a 10mm and 15mm ratchet wrench (it can be a stubby but mine were just normal length), they help a lot with hard to get to bolts like the harnesses on the back of the heads and power steering pump removal. Use PB Blaster it works way better than WD40, and if you're particular about your garage floor get a lot of cardboard to catch some of the coolant that will spill when removing the heads. Just my .02.

use a shop vac and suck the coolant out of the heads before you lift them off the block, makes for a fraction of the mess.
