Heads
Are my LS1 241 heads worth getting ported and polished or is it a waste of money ?

depends on who's doing the porting and how much you're being charged really. You can end up with a decent set of heads but you really want to make sure it's done by someone that knows what they're doing.

Silver & Blue- 02 Camaro SS, 04 GTO
To do a port and polish on LS1 heads correctly you must hit the short and long side radius and blend the bowls and clean up the combustion chambers. Working with valve stem support is difficult and with flow bench time you are looking at over 800 dollars in most cases to do it correctly. Go aftermarket, sell your LS1 heads online to offset your costs.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k
