    Headers and fuel

6.0 swap, need to know what is the best fuel regulator to use? I'll be running a in tank Walbro 255 pump and I figure the stock reg will be a restriction, right? I was going to use 3/8's on the fuel line and return. Also, does anyone make a header kit? I am going to have to build headers for this project and I can't seem to locate a kit for the LS. Any other suggestions will be appreciated.

you should be ok with the stock regulator and that pump. Only reason I foresee an upgrade would be because you went with force induction (turbo/Supercharger).

Agree. I have not heard of any members swapping out regulators during a pump upgrade.

I'am also curious about where does the stock fuel rails, lines and regulators max out? I upgraded to the racetronix 255 lph pump, 60lb injectors, but I still have stock lines, rails and regulator. I have a stock 98 LS1 block, crank and heads with aftermarket cam. I just installed a procharger D1SC and pushing roughly 8 psi.

I'm going to upgrade injectors, planning on 3/8S feed and return. I have a 2000 Camaro tank that looks like it's going to fit. I'll install the Walbro pump in it. Now I need to make my truck harness a stand alone and get the pcm reprogramed. Plus the rest of the truck built. Also the truck pan needs 2 inchs sawed off it. Looking for a pan is in the future.
