    Head and Cam Package

    Ok I know a little but not a lot, which is why I need help. I have a 2000 TA, automatic, and I have done most of my work with the suspension, but want to focus on the engine now.

    I am more of a typical street driver and have zero plans to drag the car. I put the SLP Loudmouth Exhaust on her about 5 years ago and I love the sound that comes from it but I want the car to sound absolutely beastly but also add a huge kick/boost in HP. I live out in the country and when I hit WOT I want the car to explode. I am also looking for a huge kick off the line if I am at a dead stop.

    Any suggestions out there? I am sure there is something that is perfect for me but I dont where to start or what to look at. Also, if you have some links to the website or Youtube that has what the head and cam package will sound like or the HP gains would be greatly appreciated.

    Also what other things should I expected to buy along with this...like a Torque Converter etc...

    Well for that kick of the line you will need a 3500 TC or better. Are you going to add any power adders or just keep it on HP.

    Was hoping to just keep it with HP, but again I dont know a whole lot about this.

    To do it right would be get a stall. I am an idiot and am doing heads and cam with a stock stall. To start off get headers and lowercontrol arm relocation brackets.

    Stall, shift kit, tranny cooler, and 3.73 gears then worry about motor.

    you can go to your local auto parts store and pickup a cooler for RV/ towing for relatively cheap, get the larger onr if they have options.

    I thought the F-Bodies came with a trans cooler? I remember reading that on here somewhere.

    as far as i know that was with the B4C option. i might be wrong
