    which makes them well suited for the track, but not for the street...

    Be realistic with your head/cam choice and you will have a truly enjoyable powerband, go too big with either one and life on the street will be miserable.
    Thanks for your thoughts! That's the way I'm leaning right now. Still have a couple weeks to decide. Anybody know how high I'll have to spin a 228 to get everything out of it?

    sorry to steal the thread here but I I thoguht I'd ask some questions while I'm researching this...
    I want to put a supercharger on my car in the future so I'm thinking I want to stick with the stock head cc's as to not increase my compression ratio too much for F/I (if anyone wants to tell me why I shouldn't I'm open ears) So can anyone tell me what the stock cc's are?...
    I was thinking 64cc heads and a cam with a 115 LSA would be better suited for my build any opinions?

    when changing the timing chain should i change the set or just the chain? I saw the ls2 chain and ls2 timing set from texas speed. Which one should i get?

    yeah, most places only carry the ls2 chain and call it heavy duty.

    ok that settled the chain issue. Now will the pushrods be stock length with the new cam and rockers?

    no i will keep the heads as they are since they have smaller combustion chamber anyway. i dont want to get past the compression ratio limit for pump gas(93 octane) and risk ptv issues.

    what size injectors should i get? i was thinking about 30lb. or should i get bigger?

    i opted to go big for future use, i got 42lbs. make sure that if you go bigger on injectors you have the tune ready before you fire it up.
