    Unhappy Guys Me Powersteering Pump Cooler Mest Up!

    My Ps Pump Cooler Mest Up So I Ran A Hose Instead You Think It Will Mess Up The Car Or Is It Okay Just To Leave The Hose Instead I Have A Ls1 Camaro Ss 2000 Manual THIS IS WAT MEST UP IN MY SS!

    What do you mean by mess up? Clogged, leaked or what? No you don't need per say but it does help keep the power steering fluid a bit cooler which helps the longevity of the pump. If the car is just a daily driver it is probably ok. My car didn't have one and was fine until I started racing it in Autocrosses and Road Courses the pump went so I put one in along with the new pump.
