GM Upper Engine and Fuel Inj Cleaner
I want to clean my ls1's top end by pouring in GM Cleaner upper Engine and Fuel Injector Cleaner through my PCV line into the intake. The part # on this cleaner is 88861802 and comes in a clear plastic bottle, showing a blue fluid.
The bottle is 16 oz's; so how much should I use?
Is this even the right stuff? I don't trust using Sea Foam in my intake but the Sea Foam can instructions say use 1/3 of 16 oz's.Last edited by Cachels1; 05-03-2008 at 12:21 PM.

I read that sea foam can damage seals, and just works well in carbs.

The GM Top Engine and Injector Cleaner is designed to be injected into the fuel rail with a fuel injection tool. I work at a dealership and we mix 4 o.z. with 1/2 gallon of gas and run it through the fuel rails into the engine. Awesome stuff, really makes a difference, I would also recommend following it up with some sort of fuel system treatment additive.
