I called the tuner and have to wait 2 weeks to get in with him. Good news is he tuned it before and retunes are 1/2 price, so full dyno tune $200, not bad.

I have to say the car feel pretty torquey still, and top end is MUCH stronger. You can tell the car has a nice new personality.
man that is a great price. around here its $500+ and that is for just a tune.......not a good tune

    So gentlemen,

How much RWHP do you expect I will see out of this thing (tuner has a dynojet)????

In addition to the 228R, I have full exhaust w/ LT's, hiflow cats, Magnaflow and an SLP lid, and a couple chassis/suspension mods. It will also have a brand new clutch and 15lb flywheel installed before the tune.

On a dynoJet and a 10 bolt, 400 give or take.

Got the car back today from Alvin the tuner. Made a little less than I hoped for, but still not bad at all: 380 RWHP and 370 RWTQ. It drives very similar to stock except for the rumbly idle and the extra power. It is fun to shift at 6500!!

    Here is the graph:

that's about right with stock 243's.
a set of ported 853/241's will out flow stock 243's.......a strait stock for stock swap will gain you 5-10 hp..... to make the 243's shine you need to get them ported and milled

You got it. It took me several tries to get decent audio quality with the recording, since my videocam has a sorry mic, but this one turned out good.

That said, the video does not do it justice... the cam sound with the Magnaflow and LT's is just awesome!

Edit: broken video link removed. See post above for working link

Yes, the Magnaflow system really quiets it down a bit.

    Next Mod to do: E-Cutout!!
