German Castrol Oil...Green=bad?

I tested some German Castrol today using a bearing tester like what addative sales people use.You run an electric motor turning a hardened bearing and you have another bearing grinding on that hardened one. You apply weight to the bearing and see how much weight it takes to stall the electric motor (oil is coating both bearings at this point.)

I tested the older (green) GC and the new (gold) GC. The green GC was pure weaksauce, stalling the motor at 7# pressure
(about what cheap dino oil does according to the guy)

The gold GC stalled it at 19 and then 21 #, about what Schaeffers oil does, REALLY WELL! He said the only oil that did better when he tested it was Royal Purple. Again, he was an addative sales rep and could care less about repping for a particular oil.

Just a heads up, the Gold seems VERY different from the green...in a good way.

(The area etched/ground) into the bearing with the green was 5x as big as that of the Gold, which performed almost as well as the green + his Motor Latte 12000 addative (didnt take as much pressure as the green + addative, but the wear spot was similar)
