    gen III to gen IV swap

    What is needed to install a gen IV is engine (ls3) into a 02 a4 ws6.car has 2000 stall. ls1 is all stock.I want to put together a list of things I need so I am not wasting any time looking for parts during the install, experienced this with my 12 bolt and I really didn't like having my car in the shop for a extra 2 weeks,not to mention tieing up one of their lifts.
    Also will my long tube headers work with the ls3 heads?

    i'm glad you brought this up because I was also wondering how the DOD works with our stock pcm?? or if the PCM even has anything to do with dod... I'm pretty much just confused with the whole displacement on demand thing and how it knows when to kick on and off

    the displacement on demand isnt in the ls3 only the l99 wich comes in the auto 2010 camaro. basiclly the same engine as the ls3 only it has the dod

    it has a cam phaser that goes along with the ecm. IDK HAHA. Im also interested in this because I want an ls7 with dod.
