    Gains from LS6 Head Swap

    My car is a 2000 WS6 Trans Am M6
Im putting LS6 heads on my car and getting it tuned (Vette Doctors) and wondering what kind of power I should be making with my setup:

    LS6 Heads (non ported)
    Pacesetter Headers (Race Style)
    Offroad Y Pipe
    Magnaflow Exhaust
    Fast 90/90
    SLP Intake Bellow
    Lid w/ K&N Filter
    160 T Stat
    NGK TR55
    MSD Wires
    Luk Pro Gold Clutch
    Luk Lightweight Flywheel
    Poly Motor/Trans Mounts

Any ideas of what kind of numbers I should be down? I was hoping for at least 350whp and 350tq....this is with a tune as well.

You should your 350rwhp goal without breaking a sweat. I'll bet you'll likely see another 15-20rwhp over that!

No cam??? Fast 90/90 won't really do you any good if you don't need the flow. Add a cam in there and then you will really start seeing results.
But yes, I would imagine around the 350 RWHP/RWTQ is achievable with those mods with/without the Fast.

its true about the fast intake I saw a 3hp gain from it before. That would disappoint me big time.

I was hoping someone with that experience would chime in. I have heard many seeing a 1-5 HP increase with it. Now down the road it will pay off. H/C and full bolt ons, I changed to a ported/port matched Fast 90/90 and 42 LB injectors from stock and picked up 51 RWHP and 27 RWTQ on a retune.

You'd be alot better off with that FAST if you'd get the heads ported and put a decent sized cam in there.

like stated though, that is ONLY with supporting mods, ie ported heads and a cam. If you don't intend on putting in at least a cam then you are wasting your money on a 90/90, you will get very minimal gain, around 1-5 RWHP/TQ. And for $1200+ thats a rip...now install a cam then the 90/90 and you will pick up 15-25 RWHP and 10-15 RWTQ over cam only. Install ported heads and cam then 90/90 and you will pick up 25+ RWHP and 15+ RWTQ over H/C cars. Each car reacts different, and tuning plays a huge roll.

His numbers aren't low, it's just that yours are abnormally high - like from a generous dyno.
