    forged or cast

    does anyone know if the ls1 has forged or cast rotory setup?

    So if I wanna do any serious cam an head work I might aswell get a new forged rotory setup huh

    Depends on what you mean by serious. I'd say if you're in the 500+ rwhp range....it'd be a good idea to go forged at that point.

    if you have the money, it wouldn't hurt, but untill your pushing serious hp you don't need it.
    you should upgrade your rodbolts to ARP or Katech (im running Katech)

    Im not even sure what to look at when it comes to cams an heads right now with the tuner an the slp options the car dyno'd at 393 I like the ruff idle of a serious cam

    393 rwhp is very nice! Don't get caught up in sound vs. performance. You want an efficient cam/heads set up. Or better yet go FI.

    Even if I go FI which I assume is forced induction like a super charger I would still want to do heads an can for that right?

    heads and cam with forced induction will drop your boost psi with the same amount of airflow so your intake air will be cooler and give you more hp while being easier on the engine.....win win

    most of the time a split duration cam (longer exhaust duration) with a wider lobe separation to hold in boost.
    a set of ported and polished 243s would work good for your heads and not cost you an arm and a leg

    How bout for a super charger and Im sure I'll need a tune after this an there is no one in my area that tinker with ls1's do you know of a good tuner?

    I'm not really an ecpert on FI, you mighy want to post in the FI section for more and better answers.
    but....lol I do like the Trickflow supercharger setup.

    as for tuners, call arounf to your local speed shops, you might be suprised at how many decient tuners are in your area
